Getting set up with Trivnow

In this new era, we are committed to providing live entertainment in a safe and responsible fashion, and we are proud to partner with an easy to use product for both hosts and patrons, Trivnow.

Using this mobile app to read and answer questions throughout the night dramatically cuts down on traffic jams at both the host table and the bar, allowing parties to maintain safe distances for maximum periods of time.

The app also has built in violation detection, letting the host know if a team is closing and reopening the app during a question (signifying possible navigation to a web browser), giving the host the ability to watch for signs of cheating.

Now let’s get you set up! After downloading the app, players can easily create an account with email, username, and password. Users will not be sent any communication from TrivNow, and only username will be visible to the host.

Once in the app, players can find the event by tapping the microphone in the lower left and searching for their host in the “Find your host” search bar at the top and giving the host a follow. Many hosts will assign an “event key” to their events to ensure only people at that venue can join that event, and you can enter that into the app using the magnifying glass once again and tapping “Got a Key?” in the upper left.

From there, just tap “Join the Event” and then “Create a Team” and you’ll be ready to start earning points! Only one person (usually the team captain) on a team needs to have the app. Your teammates can “Join the event” and then find their team in the list of teams and join their captain and follow along the game so not everyone on the team huddles around a single device.
